prayer & meditation

faith is probably the most important aspect of my life. i am very involved in my spiritual and religious communities, and it has given me a lot of inner peace during these trying times. my favorite ways to reflect and give thanks for all that is going right nowadays is prayer and adoration. doing these activities help me put everything in perspective and focus on the silver linings of where i am, at that moment. if you are a person of faith, it is of utmost importance that you honor your creator and recognize your purpose for your human-self: prayer and adoration are some of the several ways you can do this.

if you are not necessarily religious, meditation and journaling have also brought me a lot of clarity and peace throughout the stressful circumstances of covid. the beauty of these activities is that you can make it whatever you want! it is simply you reflecting upon your thoughts and this is so helpful in de-stressing and problem-solving!

don’t know how to start meditating? my favorite app is headspace™! it walks you through different breathing exercises and guides you step-by-step through the process of meditation.
